Lou Cinquini
Hi I am Lou Cinquini owner and stylist at Lucy’s salon & spa. I graduated from Federico Beauty College in 2007 and immediately began an assisting at a salon in Granite Bay Ca. After about a year I decided it was time to venture out on my own. After working behind the chair for approximately seven years I decided it was time to open my own salon and step into a leadership role.
Many people have asked me where the name Lucy’s came from. It is a play on my first and last name. Plus I think the name Lucy’s is cute.
Owning my own salon has been a dream of mine since I was a kid. I have always had a love of all things hair, makeup and fashion. Along with my teenybopper magazines you could find me thumbing through cosmopolitan and Vogue.
I was the one giving my friends makeovers in the bathroom before photo shoots or dances.
I am very grateful to have a career that I love and never feel like I am going to work. I get to meet new people on a daily basis and build long lasting relationships.
A key to success is not being afraid to fail, but take those failures and turn them into lessons. Never feel to proud to learn something new, and continue with education whenever possible. My Philosophy is if you are the smartest, most talented person in the room…. You are in the wrong room! Surround yourself with people who inspire you and elevate you to be the best version of yourself. Also, learn to say no to things that do now serve you well.
My Specialties
I was looking for a way to give the women that sit in my chair the hair they always dream of or see on Pinterest. I was searching for an extension method that I could be proud of stand behind. I spent countless hours and thousands of dollars learning different methods when I came across SKW Handtied extensions. This is an invisible beaded row method.
Along with extensions I also specialize in blondes. I am trained in multiple color lines including Wella, Kevin Murphy, Redkin Shades and Megix 10.
